Downtown Detroit Loft

This comprehensive renovation in the heart of Downtown Detroit showcases the perfect balance between preserving historic architectural character and implementing high-end modern utility. Our team executed a full-scale overhaul of this loft, beginning with the restoration of the original hardwood floors, stripping away years of wear to reveal the natural warmth of the wood. To lean into the space’s industrial roots, we blacked out the soaring ceilings, creating a dramatic, moody canopy that perfectly complements the exposed brick walls.

The structural layout was enhanced by framing and finishing a custom second bedroom, adding significant value and privacy to the open-concept floor plan. We also completed a full kitchen installation featuring sleek, matte cabinetry and butcher block surfaces, alongside a complete bathroom remodel finished with classic subway tile and modern matte black fixtures. From the initial electrical updates to the final coat of paint, this project stands as a testament to our commitment to revitalizing Detroit’s urban living spaces with precision and style.
